Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Atlas. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy describes how Atlas Knowledge Systems, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your data when you use the Atlas interface, APIs, and workspace environments.

2. Information We Collect

We collect account details (name, email, authentication tokens) to manage active login sessions. When you upload files to your workspace (including PDFs, DOCX, CSV, MD, and TXT format), we extract, chunk, and index the text content. We also collect query history logs within active conversation threads for rendering your dashboard.

3. Data Processing & Document Sandboxing

All documents uploaded to your account are tenant-isolated. We do not inspect your document content, and we strictly enforce database partitioned scope checking. Furthermore, we maintain a Zero Model Training policy: your uploaded text files are never used to train public foundation models.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You retain full ownership of your data. You can delete individual documents or clear entire conversation threads through the dashboard controls. When deletion is requested, the text assets, embeddings, and references are permanently erased from our vector indexes and file systems within 24 hours.

5. Rights & Governance

Depending on your region, you have rights under the GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent local privacy frameworks. These include the right to access, export, modify, or erase the personal information we store. To exercise these rights, please contact our support team.
